The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 0.7
Clip2Net is a multi-purpose application for Windows. It allows you to capture snapshots of your screen and upload them to the Clip2Net servers. It also allows you to upload any file from your computer to their servers and retrieve it later.
The screen-capturing part of the application is perhaps the most complete one. Clip2Net can capture the whole desktop, an area of it, or any active window. It can also capture video, so it doubles as a screencasting application. Everything is done via the system tray icon: you click on the icon and select one of the many capture options.
From the application's the settings, you can also enable the drop zone, an always-on-top floating icon which you can drag and drop files on to send them to the server. Whenever you do this, you are taken to a sort of preview window, where you can change the file name and decide if you want to password-protect the file or not, among many other options.
The application just feels right. It has a bunch of options and it serves several purposes. The fact that it uploads snapshots directly to the servers and that it gives you a posting URL within seconds is also a great plus.
